Dr. Morris grew up in Georgetown Texas, playing multiple sports throughout high school. After a career ending ACL injury, Dr. Morris set her sights on becoming a physical therapist and never looked back. She attended Texas A&M Corpus Christi and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. Working as a physical therapy technician throughout undergrad, she excelled in pre-physical therapy academics making the Dean's list each semester. She was accepted into the doctoral program for physical therapy at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas where she graduated in 2011.
Dr. Morris began her career as a Physical Therapist in the Mid-West where she focused most of her care on injured workers as well as diverse outpatient orthopedic based populations. She has extensive experience in treating the workman's composition population along a continuum of care from prevention to case closure. Dr. Morris implements an array of work related functional based treatments to get the injured worker back to full functioning as quickly as possible. Dr. Morris prides herself in taking an individualized and function-based treatment approach with primary focus on safety, evidence-based care, and compassion for her diverse out-patient orthopedic based populations. When she's not treating patients, Dr. Morris enjoys being with family and friends, hiking or running White Rock Lake trails, listening to live music, and watching a beautiful Texas sunset while enjoying the warm weather.
